An entire private elevated guesthouse behind the main residence — bright, welcoming, and self-contained. King bed and queen pull-out sofa (sleeps 4). An air mattress is available if a family of five — two parents and three younger kids — needs the extra space. One full bath. Ideal home base for beaches, Antique Row, Norton Museum, Worth Avenue, Brightline, and PBIA.

Seasonal pricing — each night billed at its own rate
Stays that cross season boundaries simply mix the nightly amounts. July is closed while we're away. Cleaning is $50 per stay. Nightly rates include taxes. The only add-on is a $50 cleaning fee per stay.
Calendar sync blocks Airbnb-busy nights and our confirmed direct bookings so you never double-book.

Easygoing stays, clear expectations
We want you to feel at home. A few neighborly guidelines keep El Cid peaceful for everyone.
- 01Maximum 4 guests on the standard setup. King bed and queen pull-out sofa (sleeps 4). An air mattress is available if a family of five — two parents and three younger kids — needs the extra space. Ask when you book if you need the air mattress.
- 02Quiet hours 10pm–8am out of respect for the main residence and neighbors.
- 03No parties or events. No smoking / vaping indoors.
- 04Self check-in via lockbox; code shared after confirmation.
- 05Free street parking — please keep driveways clear.
- 06Treat the studio like a home: dishes rinsed, trash bagged, lights off when you head out.

Good to know before you pack
Is this the whole place or a room?+
The entire elevated studio / guesthouse is yours — private entrance energy, not a shared room inside the main house.
How do check-in and checkout work?+
Self check-in with a lockbox. Exact times and the code are shared after your stay is confirmed.
Why are some dates blocked?+
July is a hard blackout (owners away). Other blocked nights come from our Airbnb calendar or confirmed direct bookings — we sync both ways via iCal.
Do you take payment online?+
You can always submit a booking request. When personal Stripe keys are connected, you can also pay via Stripe Checkout on this site. We never reuse other business Stripe accounts.
Are taxes and cleaning included?+
Yes — nightly rates already include taxes. The only add-on is a $50 cleaning fee per stay, which is included in the booking total.
Where exactly is it?+
El Cid, West Palm Beach. We keep the street address off public pages for privacy and share it in confirmation messages.
Is there laundry on site?+
There is no washer or dryer in the guesthouse. Rub A Dub Laundry Services is near Publix, less than half a mile away.
